In Goblin KDrama Kim Shin was once an unbeatable general in the Goryeo army who died tragically. He now has immortality but he is tired of staying alive while everyone around him dies. For 900 years, Kim Shin has sought his bride, a mortal who can draw a sword and end his life. One day, he meets Ji Eun Tak, a positive, upbeat high school student who can see the dead and has lived through tragic events, yet remains strong. She claims to be the bride of the ghost who can end his immortal life, but what appears to be an easy task turns out to be more complicated as the two fall in love.
The plot of Goblin KDrama is like this In ancient times, Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) was an unbeatable general in wars, but the young king (Kim Min-jae) becomes jealous of Kim Shin and kills him. Kim Shin becomes a dokkabi (goblin), gaining immortal life. At first he thinks he is blessed, but he realizes he is cursed.
Nearing the present day, Kim Shin has waited for 900 years for a human bride to end his immortal life. One night, he saves a dying pregnant woman (Park Hee-won) who is destined to die. Meanwhile, the Grim Reaper (Lee Dong-wook) is unable to find the dead pregnant woman. The woman gives birth to a baby girl, named Ji Eun-tak (later played by Kim Go-eun). 9 years later, Ji Eun-tak lives with her mother and is able to see ghosts. One night his mother dies suddenly. That night, he meets the Grim Reaper.
