In When the Stars Gossip – Gong Ryong (Lee Min-Ho) is a skilled obstetrician and the prospective son-in-law of MZ, the largest chaebol group. However, beneath his seemingly perfect life lies a secret mission he cannot reveal to anyone. To accomplish this mysterious mission, he spends a substantial amount of money to travel as a space tourist to a space station.
At the space station, Eve Kim (Kong Hyo-Jin), an elite space scientist, is stationed as the commander of the mission. This is her first time leading a space station crew, and her perfectionist nature drives her to enforce strict adherence to rules. In an environment filled with potential dangers, she demands absolute precision and has little tolerance for mistakes.
Among the crew members is Kang Kang-Soo (Oh Jung-Se), a fruit fly research scientist and the second son of a family that runs a global financial empire. Together, they navigate the challenges of life in space, while Gong Ryong’s hidden agenda unfolds against the backdrop of high-stakes science, teamwork, and unexpected interpersonal dynamics.
