Plot of Penthouse: High Society, Hidden Scars (Kdrama) 2020

The luxurious Penthouse Apartment, towering over the city with its 100 floors, is a symbol of opulence and power. Among its esteemed residents is Shim Su-Ryeon (Lee Ji-Ah), a woman born into wealth. Su-Ryeon exudes elegance and grace, embodying the essence of the upper class. Her presence in the Apartment is akin to that of a queen, commanding respect and admiration. Her husband, Joo Dan-Tae (Uhm Ki-Joon), is a formidable figure in the realms of business and real estate, ensuring their position at the pinnacle of high society.

Cheon Seo-Jin (Kim So-Yeon), also born into affluence, resides in the Apartment with an air of arrogance befitting her privileged background. Her husband, Ha Yoon-Cheol (Yoon Jong-Hoon), is the chief surgeon at a prestigious general hospital. His ambitions are as towering as the building they live in, and he is determined to climb even higher in his career, driven by a relentless pursuit of success.

Contrasting sharply with the other residents, Oh Yoon-Hee (Eugene) hails from a humble family. Despite her modest beginnings, she works tirelessly to secure a better future for her children. Her aspirations are centered on breaking into the upper echelons of society, driven by a deep desire to provide her children with the opportunities she never had.

Within the walls of the Penthouse Apartment, the lives of these three women intertwine, each navigating the complex web of power, ambition, and social status. Their stories unfold against the backdrop of luxury and excess, where the stakes are high, and the consequences of their actions reverberate throughout the towering edifice they call home.
